Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment. Order and interpret lab tests to inform high-quality treatment decisions, while prescribing medications and offering expert guidance on their usage. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care, maintaining appropriate medical documentation for continuity. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care that builds therapeutic doctor-patient relationships while staying updated on medical advancements and telehealth best practices. Commit at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally) over four days, with scheduling one week in advance. Join a network of experienced physicians expanding access to care in underserved communities, focusing on addiction treatment and weight management.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states, but preferably five
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states and/or three or more of the following states: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally), over four days each week, scheduling at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms and EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
