Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care through patient assessments, history reviews, and medical treatment while ordering labs and prescribing medications (excluding controlled substances except buprenorphine). Build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships and collaborate with nurse practitioners and support staff to ensure comprehensive care. Maintain medical documentation, stay current on telehealth innovations, and complete required training including buprenorphine protocols. Schedule at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally) across four days, with one week scheduled in advance. Requires an active medical license in at least three U.S. states (preferably five), including CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX, plus DEA certification. Join a telemedicine network focused on addiction care and underserved communities, supported by streamlined EMR tools and full malpractice coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms
- Comfort using EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
