Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment. Order and interpret lab tests to inform treatment decisions, prescribe medications (excluding controlled substances except buprenorphine), and maintain comprehensive medical documentation. Collaborate with nurse practitioners and support staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes while staying current on telehealth innovations and best practices. Schedule at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally) over four days, with one week scheduled in advance. Requires an active medical license in at least three U.S. states, preferably five, plus a DEA certification. Join a telemedicine network focused on addiction care and underserved communities, supported by streamlined EMR tools and full malpractice coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states, but preferably five, plus willingness to obtain additional state licenses (assistance provided and costs covered)
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states and/or three or more of the following states: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally), over four days each week, scheduling at least one week in advance
- At least one DEA certification and applicable CSL (if required)
