Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while ordering and interpreting lab tests to inform high-quality treatment decisions. Prescribe medications and guide proper usage, collaborating with nurse practitioners and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient outcomes. Maintain appropriate medical documentation and stay current with telehealth innovation and best practices. This role requires an active medical license in at least three U.S. states (preferably five, including CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX) and at least one DEA certification. Physicians must commit to 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally) over four days, scheduling at least one week in advance. Compensation averages $200 per hour, with many exceeding $400K annually. Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states, but preferably five
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states and/or three or more of the following states: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally), over four days each week, scheduling at least one week in advance
- At least one DEA certification and applicable CSL (if required)
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms and EMRs
- Passion for expanding access to care and making a meaningful impact
- Complete applicable training that may include buprenorphine training
