Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care through patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment, including prescribing medications except controlled substances. Order and interpret lab tests to inform high-quality decisions while collaborating with nurse practitioners and support staff. Maintain accurate medical documentation and stay current on telehealth innovations and best practices. Schedule at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM) over four days, with in-person hybrid options available where needed. Complete required training, including buprenorphine certification, and obtain state licenses with assistance provided. Join a network expanding access to addiction treatment and underserved communities via streamlined telemedicine technology.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Ability to use telemedicine platforms
- Ability to use EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
