Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care, build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships, and order/interpret lab tests for informed treatment decisions. Prescribe medications with expert guidance (excluding controlled substances except buprenorphine for opioid addiction) and collaborate with nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care. Maintain appropriate medical documentation and stay current with telehealth innovations and best practices. Commit to 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally) over four days, with assistance provided for obtaining additional state licenses.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in at least three or more of the following states: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms
- Comfort using EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
