Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment. Order and interpret lab tests to inform high-quality treatment decisions, prescribe medications (excluding controlled substances except buprenorphine), and maintain medical documentation for continuity. Collaborate with nurse practitioners and support staff to deliver comprehensive patient-centered care while staying current on telehealth innovations and best practices. Schedule at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally) over four days, with assistance provided for obtaining additional state licenses. Join a network of physicians expanding access to addiction treatment and underserved communities through streamlined telemedicine technology and industry-leading compensation.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Ability to use telemedicine platforms
- Ability to use EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
