Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care through patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment decisions. Order and interpret lab tests, prescribe medications (excluding controlled substances except for buprenorphine), and collaborate with nurse practitioners and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient outcomes. Maintain rigorous medical documentation and stay current with telehealth innovations and best practices. Schedule at least 15 core hours weekly between 8AM and 6PM locally, working four days in advance. This role supports addiction treatment and weight management services across 44 states, offering physicians full flexibility to practice modern medicine without administrative burdens while earning competitive compensation.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Ability to use telemedicine platforms
- Ability to use EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
