Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while ordering and interpreting lab tests to inform high-quality treatment decisions. Prescribe medications and offer expert guidance, excluding controlled substances except for buprenorphine for opioid addiction. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care while maintaining appropriate medical documentation. Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices. Complete applicable training including buprenorphine certification as part of onboarding. Maintain an active medical license in at least three U.S. states, preferably five, with critical licensure in CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX. Schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly between 8AM-6PM locally over four days, with scheduling one week in advance.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Ability to use telemedicine platforms
- Ability to use EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
