Job Summary
Conduct virtual patient assessments, review medical histories, and deliver treatment plans through telemedicine platforms. Order and interpret lab tests, prescribe medications excluding controlled substances, and collaborate with nurse practitioners and support staff to ensure comprehensive care. Maintain detailed medical documentation and stay current with telehealth innovations and best practices. Build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships while working 15–20 hours weekly across four days. Complete required training including buprenorphine certification as part of onboarding. Join a network of physicians expanding access to addiction treatment and general care in underserved communities.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Ability to use telemedicine platforms
- Ability to use EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
