Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care through patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment, including ordering and interpreting lab tests. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while building therapeutic relationships and prescribing medications for non-controlled substances, with expert guidance on usage. Collaborate with nurse practitioners and support staff to ensure comprehensive care, maintaining appropriate medical documentation and staying current with telehealth innovations and best practices. Schedule at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally) over four days, with assistance provided for obtaining additional state licenses. Join a growing network expanding access to addiction treatment and underserved communities.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in at least one of the following states: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms
- Comfort using EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
- Passion for expanding access to care
- Passion for making a meaningful impact
- Complete applicable training that may include buprenorphine training
