Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment. Order and interpret lab tests to inform treatment decisions, prescribe medications (excluding controlled substances except buprenorphine), and collaborate with support staff to ensure comprehensive patient outcomes. Maintain medical documentation, stay current on telehealth innovations, and deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while expanding access to underserved communities. Commit to 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM) over four days with one week's advance scheduling. Requires active multi-state medical license, DEA certification, and telehealth/EMR proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Ability to use telemedicine platforms
- Ability to use EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
