Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment. Order and interpret lab tests to inform high-quality treatment decisions, while prescribing medications and offering expert guidance on their usage. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care, maintaining appropriate medical documentation for continuity. Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to build therapeutic relationships. Complete applicable training, including buprenorphine protocols, during onboarding. Maintain an active medical license in at least three U.S. states, with a critical requirement for licensure in five states including CA, FL, NC, PA, and TX. Schedule at least 15 core hours weekly over four days.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Ability to use telemedicine platforms
- Ability to use EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
