Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while ordering and interpreting lab tests to inform high-quality treatment decisions. Prescribe medications with expert guidance, noting that controlled substances are limited to buprenorphine for opioid addiction treatment. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care, while maintaining appropriate medical documentation. Stay current with medical advancements and telehealth innovation best practices. Schedule at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally) over four days, with onboarding requiring applicable training including buprenorphine certification. Join a network of experienced physicians expanding access to addiction treatment and underserved communities.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Ability to use telemedicine platforms
- Ability to use EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
