Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment. Order and interpret lab tests to inform high-quality decisions, prescribe medications (excluding controlled substances except buprenorphine), and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships. Collaborate with nurse practitioners and support staff to ensure comprehensive care while maintaining accurate medical documentation. Stay current with medical advancements and telehealth innovation. Commit to 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM) across four days with one week's advance scheduling. Requires active license in at least three U.S. states (preferably five), including CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX, plus DEA certification. Join a network expanding access to addiction treatment and underserved communities.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms
- Comfort using EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
