Remote Physician Profee Coding Specialist - NICU and Hospital Medicine ICU

Review, analyze, and assign accurate CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 codes for professional fee services in NICU and hospital ICU settings. Ensure proper sequencing, modifier use, and place-of-service coding while maintaining compliance with governmental regulations, payer policies, and NCCI edits. Perform coding audits, quality reviews, and claim scrubbing in Athena Collector to identify documentation gaps and resolve holds. Collaborate with physicians and revenue cycle teams to clarify documentation and escalate issues for provider education. Maintain strict confidentiality of patient and financial data. Requires 2-4 years of physician coding experience, CPC or CCS certification, and proficiency with EHR systems.
