Job Summary
Remote paralegal supporting offshore half of an onshore team for a Phoenix-based commercial litigation firm. Core duties include drafting pleadings from scratch, managing docket and deadlines, preparing and organizing exhibits for hearings and trials, handling commercial collections pleadings, tracking court deadlines, file management, discovery support, and coordinating with e-discovery vendors. Requires strong working knowledge of US civil litigation procedure, precise written English, ability to manage high-volume matters simultaneously, and proactive communication with the onshore team. This role is 100% remote with full-time hours and daily overlap with US Mountain Time; operates as the offshore support to the onshore paralegal and supervising attorney with frequent feedback in early tenure.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years drafting US litigation pleadings
- Track record of managing 20+ active matters without missed deadlines
- Written English clean enough that attorneys edit substance
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while staying in close coordination with an onshore team
- Daily working-hour overlap with US Mountain Time business hours
