Job Summary
Provide psychotherapy and psychopharmacology services as a PMHNP in a primarily tele-health environment, collaborating with psychiatrists and therapists. Conduct intake evaluations, develop patient-centered treatment plans, and deliver modalities such as CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing with appropriate psychopharmacology prescribing. Maintain a weekly patient load, support continuity of care, and contribute to a high-touch, interdisciplinary care model in remote or hybrid settings (NYC office option available). Participate in supervision, trainings, and organizational meetings, while upholding clinical standards, thorough documentation, crisis intervention when needed, and ongoing collaboration with a diverse patient population. Requires NY state licensure (CRNP/APRN), NY PMHNP-BC certification, RN license, and active DEA license, with at least one year of outpatient psychotherapy experience and telehealth proficiency. Compensation includes base salary with potential bonuses; work eligibility within approved states in the U.S.; remote or hybrid work arrangement with NYC-area flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- New York State CRNP/APRN license
- RN License
- PMHNP-BC: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Board Certified
- Active DEA License in good standing
- At least one year of experience in Psychotherapy (CBT, DBT, MI, etc.)
- Telehealth/telemedicine experience
