Job Summary
Answer incoming calls for roadside assistance and towing services, providing accurate pricing quotes and explaining details to ensure customer satisfaction. Enter call information into the towing software system, dispatch drivers to locations, and monitor dispatch status while maintaining high accuracy in data entry. Collect payments over the phone using the secure processing system and maintain a professional demeanor during high-stress situations. This role requires on-call availability for several nights per week and 1-2 weekends per month, including rotating holidays, with in-person training at the McPherson KS office.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have a reliable internet connection
- Must have a suitable workspace free from distractions
- Must be able to download, install, and use essential dispatching and payment processing apps on personal devices (PC and/or smartphone)
- Must be willing to work on-call shifts several nights per week and 1-2 weekends per month, including rotating holidays
- Must be able to attend in-person, in-office training and meetings at our McPherson KS office
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed during emergency situations
- High level of accuracy in data entry and dispatching
