Job Summary
This 100% remote position seeks a Medical Billing Specialist with experience in back-end A/R follow-up and resolution of aged accounts for hospital and physician billing. The role entails problem solving and research to resolve denied or underpaid claims and manage insurance receivables.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years in Healthcare Provider Revenue Cycle experience
- Hands-on experience using Epic, Cerner, Invision, Soarian, McKesson, Allscripts, Meditech
- Hands-on knowledge of UB-04 and/or HCFA 1500 billing
- CPT and ICD-10 coding knowledge
