Remote Medical Billing Coder

Manage patient and third-party billing functions, including data entry, posting encounters, and preparing clean claims for submission. Resolve denials and outstanding accounts receivable across all payers while answering inquiries from patients, staff, and insurance carriers. Review clinical documentation to provide coding support and handle patient billing complaints and statement correspondence. Process payments and manage insurance account correspondence to maximize collections. This role requires a high school diploma, CPC certification, and knowledge of ICD/CPT codes, with bi-lingual skills in English and Spanish preferred. Must be able to commute onsite in Connecticut despite the remote title.
