Job Summary
Provide clinical assessments, diagnostic workups, and treatment planning for patients with depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction via telehealth. Manage medication and conduct initial evaluations (60 min) and follow-up visits (30 min) using the Rula EHR platform. Deliver evidence-based care with timely documentation while receiving support from Care Coordination teams for higher-level requests. As an independent contractor, you set your own schedule and panel with insurance in under 30 days. Rula handles all administrative tasks including credentialing, billing, and compliance to allow you to focus on patient care.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO License
- Board-certified Psychiatrist (MD/DO)
- active, unrestricted state medical license
- Valid, unrestricted state specific DEA registration with Schedules II-V
- Active state Prescription Monitoring Program (PDMP) registration
- No adverse actions, disciplinary history, or license restrictions with any state medical board, hospital, or credentialing body in the past
- 3 to 5 years
- No suspension, exclusion, or debarment from federal healthcare programs (Medicare/Medicaid)
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality, evidence-based psychiatric care and safety planning
- Comfortable and proficient delivering outpatient care via telehealth (including EMR navigation, virtual rapport building, and remote crisis management)
- Commitment to timely, individualized, evidence-based documentation for every patient
