Job Summary
Provide clinical assessments, diagnostic workups, and treatment plans for patients with depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction. Manage common psychiatric medications and crisis situations while conducting initial 60-minute consultations and 30-minute follow-ups via telehealth. Deliver high-quality care within a HIPAA-compliant EHR platform, supported by credentialing, billing, and care coordination teams. As an independent contractor, you set your own schedule with no-show protection and receive payment per session. Rula handles administrative burdens to ensure you focus entirely on patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO License
- Licensed Psychiatrist (MD/DO)
- Experience with mental health assessment
- Experience with diagnosis
- Experience with triage
- Experience with managing common psychiatric medication
- Experience with treatment plans
- Experience with managing crisis situations
- Board certified in Psychiatry
- Active, unrestricted license
- Valid DEA number with Schedules II-V listed
- Registration with state Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP)
- No suspension/exclusion/debarment from participation in federal healthcare programs (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid, SCHIP)
- No adverse actions by any nursing board, hospital or other credentialing body in the past 3 years
- The ability to provide telehealth
