Job Summary
Provide compassionate nutritional care to Long Term Care residents by addressing health problems through clinical treatment and delivering personalized nutrition plans. Collaborate with facility clinical teams to complete clinical assessments, chart in the EMR system, and attend care meetings. Conduct meal rounds as needed, perform sanitation audits, and sign off on dietary menus to maintain quality standards while ensuring resident well-being. Requires five years of Long Term Care experience and CDR or RDE licensure.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or Registered Dietitian Eligible (RDE) with Verification Statement
- State licensure as required varies by state
- 5 years of long term care experience
- Strong communication skills
- Effective teamwork
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment
