Job Summary
Create and distribute daily and monthly loan-level reports to trustees, including Loan Modification and REO Liquidation reports. Balance cash received against cash remitted by tracking advance activity and preparing wire transfers to investors per servicing agreements. Forecast principal and interest advances monthly, review payment history to balance cash activity, and reconcile pool-to-security discrepancies. Analyze remittance differences between investor accounting and remittance reports to maintain custodial account accuracy. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. The role handles routine accounts with established investor contracts. Starting pay is $31-$36 per hour. Carrington Mortgage Services provides integrated mortgage loan servicing assistance to borrowers and investors.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- One (1) to two (2) years of related experience
- investor accounting and reporting experience
- In-depth knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements
- Ability to understand complex problems
- Ability to collaborate and explore alternative solutions
- Ability to make decisions that have moderate impact on the immediate work unit
- Ability to organize and prioritize own work schedule on a short-term basis
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
- Ability to record, balance, and check results for accuracy
- Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word
