Job Summary
Advise clients on employment-based immigration matters, including H-1B, L-1, O-1, E-2, and permanent residence pathways while supporting corporate immigration and global mobility initiatives. Counsel founders and leadership teams on immigration strategy tied to business growth, coordinate planning with tax and business advisors for holistic solutions, and oversee filings, timelines, and compliance. Serve as a trusted advisor on complex, cross-border issues without litigation or removal defense. This advisory role offers a hybrid remote schedule with no traditional billable hour pressure, allowing collaboration across interdisciplinary teams to deliver real business impact.
Required Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school
- Active U.S. bar admission
- 5+ years in experience in employment-based and corporate immigration
- Strong client-facing and advisory skills
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment
- Interest in international, cross-border, and business-focused work
Desired Qualifications
- Experience advising startups, growth companies, or multinational clients
- Exposure to global mobility or cross-border business matters
- Portuguese or Spanish language skills (not required)
