Job Summary
Provide compassionate nutritional care to long-term care residents by developing personalized nutrition plans and conducting meal rounds as needed. Collaborate with facility clinical teams to address nutrition-related health problems, complete clinical assessments, and chart within the EMR system. Maintain quality standards through sanitation audits and dietary menu sign-offs while attending care progress meetings. Requires one year of long-term care experience post-internship, full RDE licensure, and a dedicated home office setup.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum one year experience in long term care post dietetic internship
- Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Must have a full home office including high speed internet, a designated working area without distractions and computer to work remotely
- State licensure guidelines must be met
