Job Summary
Prepare accurate project estimates for HVAC systems including split, ducted, VRV/VRF, and ventilation based on sales scopes or site visits. Conduct sizing and capacity assessments to recommend appropriate units and accessories, then generate timely proposals with detailed cost breakdowns for equipment, labor, and materials. Coordinate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and check stock availability, while monitoring costs against estimates and tracking variances for post-job analysis. Work closely with sales teams and technicians to align on quoting, timelines, and technical feasibility, maintaining quote logs and supporting tenders for commercial AC or automation upgrades. This role begins at 30 hours per day, transitioning to full-time 40 hours based on performance, with a VA rate of $10AUD per hour.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years proven HVAC estimating experience
- Solid understanding of HVAC design, sizing, controls, and system integration
- Proficiency in quotation tools
