Job Summary
Manage intellectual property matters including trademark and copyright clearance, registration, transfer, and licensing for client law firms. Draft and review crucial contracts such as Professional Services and Independent Contractor Agreements while advising clients on advertising, social media, and influencer marketing regulations. Operate remotely from Ohio as a self-starter capable of handling projects from start to finish, utilizing project management software and video conferencing tools. Requires 5+ years of IP law experience and Ohio bar admission. Pay starts at $80/hour with variable remote hours of 10+ weeks.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in good standing to practice law in the State of Ohio
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Intellectual Property Law
- Proven self-starter
- Comfortable managing legal projects from start to finish
- Proficient in technologies that enable you to be successful working remotely, such as project management software, electronic document creation and video conferencing
- Stellar at communicating with clients with confidence about their businesses and cases
- Equally excellent at handling project management and team communication in a virtual Firm environment
- At least 5 years of experience in Trademark and copyright clearance, registration, transfer, and licensing
- Experience reviewing, drafting and advising clients about crucial contracts like Professional Services Agreements and Independent Contractor Agreements
- Knowledge of laws and regulations governing advertising, social media marketing, and influencer marketing
- Marketing campaign review experience
