Job Summary
Remote Field Service Technician II responsible for field-related troubleshooting, installations, and repairs of DEUTZ machinery at customer sites. Travel to customer locations to perform engine and equipment repairs, pre-order parts, ensure compliance with manufacturer requirements, and maintain safe, clean work areas. Communicates with customers and internal teams (Service Supervisor, Parts Dept, warranty/engineering) to resolve issues, schedule service, and document work orders. Requires strong problem-solving abilities, ability to work with minimal supervision, proficiency with diagnostic tools, and ownership of tools. Emphasis on professional conduct, safety, and DOT compliance while supporting both DEUTZ and non-DEUTZ construction equipment within the Power Center.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or GED
- Must have your own tools
- Valid driver’s license
- DOT medical card status
- Insurable by the company
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to travel to customer locations
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient with basic computer software (e.g., Serdia, Serpic, Fieldaware, Word, Excel)
- Experience with NG/CNG engines and diesel engine repairs (preferred)
