Job Summary
Lead the Product organization within R&D by installing a mature operating system for intake, discovery, prioritization, and roadmap communication. Define success metrics up front, validate problems through customer discovery, and measure realized value after release to ensure predictable delivery. Coach five product professionals into strategic leaders while establishing clear roles, accountability, and a culture of ownership across the full portfolio. Partner with Engineering, Sales, and executive leadership to improve forecast accuracy and serve as a source of clarity rather than friction. Integrate AI-enabled tools to improve workflows and solve problems efficiently. This remote role requires travel to Ottawa monthly and customer sites, with a focus on building product judgment in a scaling organization.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in Product Management
- 5+ leading Product teams
- A track record of shipping products customers actually value
- Experience building or maturing a Product operating model in a scaling organization
- Strong product instincts
- Executive communication and the ability to influence without authority
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Travel is required as needed, approximately 20%
- Candidates must hold a current, valid passport and be legally eligible to travel internationally
- Possession of any required travel visas for entry into Canada, the United States, and the Caribbean
- Expect travel to Ottawa roughly once a month
- Periodic travel to customer sites and industry conferences
- Preference will be given to candidates who can work in EST timezone
