Job Summary

Understand the dental revenue cycle to ensure timely, accurate posting of insurance payments in compliance with industry standards. Prepare and submit clean claims daily, investigate rejections to reduce aging, and apply necessary adjustments to maximize collections. Demonstrate proficiency in dental practice management software, CDT coding, and payer websites to facilitate seamless data exchange and claim retrieval. Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to resolve billing challenges and maintain high posting accuracy and audit scores. Maintain HIPAA guidelines and data integrity while contributing to revenue targets and client retention goals within our revenue cycle management business unit.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years dental insurance billing
  • Knowledge of dental terminology
  • Effective dental revenue cycle management techniques
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Well-organized
  • Clear communicator
  • Diligent work ethic
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Multi-Tasker
  • Understanding of the entire dental revenue cycle
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations of dental coding and posting
  • Efficient knowledge and implementation of Coordination of Benefits
  • Ability to read and understand Insurance Verification full breakdowns
  • Utilize HIPAA guidelines at all times
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the use of dental PMS
  • Knowledge in either server or cloud base
  • Possess a deep understanding of Current Dental Terminology (CDT) coding
  • Demonstrate radiographic knowledge and interpretation relevant to dental procedures
  • Utilize insurance payer websites
  • Utilize clearinghouse knowledge
