Job Summary
Coordinate inspections, dispatch assignments, and enter claims into the dispatch system for residential and commercial property cases. Schedule inspections with policyholders, communicate with field inspectors, vendors, and carriers, and maintain accurate documentation. Resolve issues delaying claim dispatch or completion while ensuring service level expectations are met. Provide professional, empathetic customer service to policyholders and business partners during active catastrophe events. Work remotely with a schedule varying from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM, seven days a week, handling approximately 10–15 claims per hour during active events.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in insurance, roofing, construction, estimating, claims, dispatching, or a customer-facing service role
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Comfortable working in multiple software systems simultaneously
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams)
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Must be available for shifts between 7:00 AM and 10:00 PM, seven days a week, based on availability
- Must be able to handle approximately 10–15 claims per hour during CAT events
Desired Qualifications
- Understanding of property insurance claim workflows
- Basic knowledge of residential roofing and construction terminology
- Ability to read repair estimates
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Customer-focused with a professional and empathetic communication style
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced CAT environment
- Experience with Xactimate, XactAnalysis, Symbility, Guidewire, CRM, or dispatching software
