Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate daily billeting operations to ensure efficient lodging services and compliance with company and client requirements. Lead, train, mentor, and evaluate billeting personnel while assigning accommodations across multiple remote camp locations to maximize occupancy. Oversee travel logistics and staffing plans, monitor office workflows, and review operational documentation including occupancy reports. Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated customer service issues and manage incoming mail and packages. Ensure accurate utilization of management software systems, identify technical issues, and analyze occupancy trends to recommend process improvements. Promote and enforce safety standards and policies while conducting quality assurance audits. Maintain effective communication with senior management, contractors, clients, and vendors. This rotational position involves a two weeks on, two weeks off schedule at the Kuparuk oil field in a remote arctic environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum five (5) years of directly related billeting supervisory experience
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to operate in a climate of confidentiality requiring professionalism and discretion
- Ability to effectively operate general office equipment, PC's and type at least 45 words per minute
- Intermediate experience working with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Reliable and dependable attendance in a remote setting
- Must successfully complete all pre-employment requirements, which may include a criminal background check, drug screening, physical examination, fit-for-duty assessment, and hearing test
- Applicants who do not reside near an approved testing facility are responsible for travel expenses to the nearest testing location
- Must be able to live in dormitory style settings and meet cleanliness requirements of the remote camp
- Must meet and adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations set forth by the company and client
- Contract requires employees to read, write, speak and understand English
- Must constantly be able to sit, stand, walk, climb, push, pull use hands and arms, stoop, kneel and crouch
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 lbs
- Lift 20 lbs. from floor to knuckle x 2
- Lift 20 lbs. from floor to waist x 2
- Carry 20 lbs. with two hands for a minimum distance of 20 feet, self-paced but continuous
- Kneel on one knee and stand. Return to kneel on opposite knee. Repeat alternate kneeling sequence x 3 for each knee, self-paced but continuous
- Stand from Supine Position Test: From a supine, recumbent position, while wearing arctic gear, test recipient must be able to stand without assistance x 3, self-paced
- Perform alternate cross over toe touches x 5 each side, self-paced but continuous
- Walk on a treadmill at 3 MPH for 10 minutes with good balance
- Climb up and down 10 steps x 2 for a total of 20 steps, self-paced
- Must be available for a two (2) weeks on, two (2) weeks off rotational schedule
- Must be able to live in a remote camp environment (Kuparuk oil field)
