Job Summary
Remote Assistant Director, Revenue Cycle Management leads and develops frontline managers and staff across billing, collections, AR follow-up, coding, and denial management to ensure performance standards, client satisfaction, and compliance. Responsible for operational execution, workflow optimization, KPI tracking, and financial outcomes, with a focus on process improvements, standard workflows, and QA. Works with leadership to drive automation and AI-driven initiatives, maintains strong client relationships, participates in client meetings, and supports budgeting and staffing for revenue cycle services. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 7+ years in healthcare revenue cycle with 3+ years in leadership, and familiarity with EHR systems (MEDHOST, Oracle/Cerner, Meditech, EPIC). Travel up to 25% and preference for EST/CST time zones.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 7 years in healthcare revenue cycle services in a hospital environment
- At least 3 years in a leadership role
- Knowledge of multiple EHRs (MEDHOST, Oracle/Cerner, Meditech or EPIC)
- Proven client relationship skills
- Experience with multi-facility entities to rural health/community hospitals
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- Excellent written, proofreading, and verbal communication skills
- Strong judgment, detail-oriented, organized, able to multi-task, problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work within a team and lead projects in revenue cycle functions
