Job Summary
Oversee a portfolio of 5–6 clients by managing hands-on full-cycle accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close processes. Prepare financial statements and reporting packages, review account activity to investigate variances, and analyze results to identify trends. Serve as the primary accounting contact for assigned businesses, presenting findings and explaining key financial results to clients. Review Staff Accountant work to provide guidance and improve accounting processes, reporting, and internal controls. Base salary ranges from $85,000 to $90,000 with full benefits; work Monday through Friday in ET or CT time zones.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience working in complex accounting environments, such as multiple entities, locations, or business units
- Experience leading month-end close and preparing financial statements
- Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables
