Job Summary
Lead the practical adoption of AI tools, processes, and thinking across NorthStar's business operations, with a cross-functional remit spanning Finance, Customer Service, Operations, HR, Sales, and Professional Services. Drive AI adoption and literacy through tailored training, workshops, and resources; translate AI capability into practical business value for non-technical teams; identify, develop, and deliver AI use cases; build a prioritized backlog and lightweight business cases; design, build, and deploy AI-driven solutions for workflows, internal tools, bots, prompts, templates, and integrations; own the full lifecycle from concept to iteration; establish governance for AI tools and data handling; coordinate with R&D and IT to align roadmaps while driving organizational change; travel up to 10% for AI events; report progress and outcomes to the EVP; collaborate with department heads to penetrate adoption and create quick wins; offer remote-friendly work arrangements across Canada and the US. What we are looking for: strong understanding of AI tools, hands-on ability to build and deploy AI solutions (automation workflows, AI integrations, chatbots, prompts, low-code/no-code tools, scripting); excellent communication to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences; demonstrated cross-functional collaboration; experience in software or utilities industries.
