Job Summary
Remodeling Technician needed as an independent contractor to support ongoing residential remodeling projects for Gill Construction. Responsibilities include general carpentry and light framing, drywall repair and finishing, interior trim and finish work, minor plumbing and electrical adjustments, installation of fixtures/doors/hardware, punch list and detail work, coordinating with project teams and other trades, reading and interpreting plans, and ensuring work meets quality standards. Must bring proven experience across multiple trades, own/tools, COI, and be able to manage schedules independently while maintaining professional communication; opportunity for ongoing project-based work.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential remodeling
- Ability to perform work across multiple trades
- Operates an independent business entity or sole proprietorship
- Own tools, equipment, and transportation
- General liability insurance (COI required)
- Ability to manage schedule and workload independently
- Strong workmanship and attention to detail
- Reliable communication and professionalism
