Job Summary
Perform residential remodeling and home improvement projects from start to finish, completing rough and finish carpentry including framing, trim, doors, and cabinetry. Remodel bathrooms, kitchens, basements, and other spaces by installing tile, flooring, drywall, and minor electrical components like switches and light fixtures. Troubleshoot common repair issues, read job plans accurately, and document progress with photos while maintaining a clean, safe jobsite. Communicate professionally with homeowners to identify unforeseen conditions before proceeding. Maintain a valid driver's license and ability to lift materials safely. Full-time position with competitive compensation based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift and carry construction materials and equipment as required
- Minimum of 3–5 years of professional carpentry, remodeling, construction, or home improvement experience
- Strong experience in residential remodeling and finish carpentry
- Working knowledge of basic plumbing and electrical repairs
- Ability to independently complete projects and solve problems in the field
- Comfortable working on a variety of projects rather than performing only one specialized trade
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and standard construction equipment safely
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Professional appearance and good customer-service skills
