Job Summary
Processing Specialist II performs complex sorting and decisioning of non-standard or rejected transactions. The focus of the position is to perform the day to day functions of reject decisioning/processing. Includes Reject Operator duties—pull rejected transactions from all processing areas using reports and processing audit trails—with general knowledge of operations. Performs header batched items with control documents and processing header. Conducts High Speed Mail Extraction & Scanning on high speed equipment with client handling using I-Tran, IMBL, OPEX 30, 40, 50/51, 150 Falcon. Handles processing from medium to high complexity client instructions, maintains accuracy and productivity per department standards, and may assist with training when needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
- Computer skills
- Able to read and make decisions
- Able to work independently and with others
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Team player with good interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to change and learn new processes
- Must meet productivity and accuracy standards
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- 1 year of experience (Preferred)
