Remediation & Reclamation Coordinator

Job Summary
Coordinate decommissioning, remediation, and reclamation activities across all operating areas, including workplan approval, site prioritization, and management of environmental consultants. Prepare and monitor annual budgets, track costs, and establish a central repository for site status and risk data. Provide technical oversight for reclamation planning, review environmental reporting for regulatory submission, and lead spill response mobilization and plan formulation. Ensure adherence to federal and provincial regulations while managing stakeholder communications with landowners and municipalities.
Required Qualifications
- University degree or technical diploma in Environmental Science, Resource Management, Environmental Engineering or a related discipline
- A minimum of 10 years of experience within the oil & gas environmental industry
- Extensive knowledge of environmental and regulatory regulations, guidelines, standards and best industry practices
- Experience in the development and implementation of reclamation & remediation programs and reduction of environmental liability
- Expert level awareness on federal and provincial regulations and guidelines related to reclamation and remediation
