Remanufacturing Technician 2nd Shift

Job Summary

Disassemble, clean, requalify, rework, and assemble Traction Motor Combo components using manual and automated equipment while adhering to quality procedures. Inspect work against internal criteria using precision measuring devices and test protocols, then sign off on process documentation. Maintain compliance with EHS policies and lean manufacturing principles like 5s and single piece flow. Perform special processes such as welding or non-destructive testing where certified. Process components according to internal requirements and complete on-the-job training. This role supports the facility's remanufacturing operations for UX Traction Motor Combo components, with a Monday-to-Friday schedule from 1:30pm to 10:00pm.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Ability to walk, stand, bend and lift throughout the day
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, including full shifts
  • On-site availability during the scheduled shift
  • Knowledge of EHS procedures and policies
  • Ability to use manual equipment and hand tools safely
  • Working knowledge of inspection measurement equipment
  • Understanding of all manufacturing and quality procedures associated with the assigned product line in a lean manufacturing environment

Desired Qualifications

  • High school diploma / GED
  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience in a manufacturing environment
