Job Summary
Relocation Manager overseeing the planning, managing, and directing all aspects of relocating residents due to modernization activities. Establishes relationships with residents, prepares relocation plans under the Uniform Relocation Act and HUD regulations, collaborates with resident leadership and management to ensure HUD approval, serves as liaison across departments, coordinates unit inspections post-rehab, arranges movers and moving logistics, conducts reasonable accommodation assessments, and provides guidance to HAHTX staff while traveling to sites and handling related administrative duties.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in social services, business administration, or related field; URA certified preferred; knowledge of HUD policies and procedures; ability to interpret policies and communicate effectively; knowledge of moving logistics and community services; commitment to low-income, elderly, and disabled communities; knowledge of cloud-based management software; ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
