Job Summary
Serve as primary point-of-contact with the client organization and act as key intermediary between residents, client, and subcontractors. Implement resident engagement strategy, develop and maintain tenant relocation files, and identify prospective Section 8 landlords in opportunity zones. Provide direct housing opportunity counseling to tenants regarding school systems and job opportunities, while preparing documents and engaging necessary subcontractors. Input QA/QC data, contribute to weekly/monthly reports, conduct follow-ups, monitor project milestones, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing and ADA Section 504 requirements. Lead a small team of short-term relocation specialists and administer benefits for relocating families.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in affordable housing nonprofit work, local government, or donor relations
- Minimum 1 year of prior management and administrative experience
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational, reporting, and time-management skills
- Must successfully pass a background check
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
