Job Summary
Architect modern data platforms, business intelligence, and analytics solutions by designing data lakes, warehouses, and lakehouses while collaborating with business experts to translate requirements into functional data models. Enforce technical architecture standards and documentation policies, then assist in scoping, estimating, and planning projects to meet defined timelines and objectives. Address customer queries promptly, mentor team members on skill development, and produce comprehensive architectural documentation for Azure-based data strategies including Fabric, Synapse, and Power BI. Stay informed on industry advancements to ensure high-quality, client-centric delivery in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in designing and implementing Azure Data solutions using services such as: Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Microsoft Power BI, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, Azure DevOps, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Blob storage, Azure Cosmos DB
- Solid experience in designing and building data and analytics solutions
- Have working knowledge of Azure Purview
- An understanding of Data Governance frameworks
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Customer-service oriented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Graduate-level education in Computer Science or a relevant field, or a widely recognised professional qualification at a comparable level
- Formal training and/or certification on related technologies
- Solid experience with development approaches such as CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment)
- Working knowledge of Azure DevOps
- 5+ years' experience in Data and Analytics technologies
- Ability to build strong relationships and shows technical expertise to deliver quality, client-centric solutions using Microsoft technologies
- Ability to develop robust architectural frameworks and demonstrate technical expertise to deliver high-quality, client-focused solutions, ensuring effective preparation and execution of projects
- Exhibits strong leadership skills, guiding cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives while fostering collaboration and innovation in data architecture solutions
- Advocate innovation both within the firm and with clients and promotes collaboration amongst teams
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to ensure documents are consistent in language, terminology, and style
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and manage a range of relationships in a complex environment
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written and listening): an ability to present information concisely, to communicate in a manner applicable to all levels
- Ability to produce high quality and professional presentations
- Flexible approach to work with a focus to delivery to deadlines and high standards
- Ability to handle highly confidential information with tact and discretion

Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 products, the Dataverse, and Microsoft Power Platform will be considered an asset
