RELIEF YOUTH SPECIALIST- BROOKLYN YOUTH CENTER

Develop community relationships and employment opportunities for youth while engaging them in job fairs and career building events. Provide vocational instruction in computer skills, reading, writing, and math, and assist youth in GED preparation. Maintain up-to-date documentation of all services, including group notes and attendance, and develop regularly scheduled groups, workshops, seminars, and outings. Increase on-site activities for dropping-in youth and volunteer participation, representing the center at community forums as assigned. Track youth participation methods in conjunction with the supervisor and ensure all grant deliverables are met. Bi-lingual skills and a driver's license are preferred.
