Job Summary
Conduct advanced, client-centered therapeutic services for children and adolescents with serious emotional disturbances, substance abuse issues, or intellectual disabilities. Deliver assessment, treatment planning, and direct care while managing client risk and safety in a structured, community living environment. Serve as a consultant and mentor to direct care employees, ensuring all documentation and interventions comply with applicable laws, LCI standards, and division protocols. Perform behavior management techniques and provide integrated mental health and substance abuse interventions. Work weekday and weekend night shifts (8 and 12-hour shifts) within a multi-disciplinary residential treatment program.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school
- Must have a valid license as a Registered Nurse in Florida
- Must be certified in CPR
- Must be able to effectively perform client/patient behavior management techniques (CPI) with appropriate training
- Must be able to provide individualized, integrated mental health, substance abuse and co-occurring services to meet the needs of individuals served and their families
- Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as appropriate
