Job Summary
Relief Residential Counselor (Per Diem) provides hands-on direct care and support to adults with ID/DD in residential programs. Responsibilities include assisting with showering, toileting, shaving, meal-time support, transporting individuals to appointments and activities, and contributing to program and individual goals under supervision. The role requires promoting health, maintaining logs/communication records, and providing structure, teaching and counseling as needed. Shift variations cover 1st-3rd shifts on a per-diem basis. A High School diploma or GED is required, and related experience with ID/DD is preferred. Must pass background checks (fingerprint, CORI, DPPC), have a valid Driver's License, and MAP certification is preferred. Lifeworks is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
