Job Summary

Monitor community areas, lobby, and building exterior to prevent loitering while conducting security camera rounds and addressing issues. Manage visitor and staff check-ins, verify photo IDs, control lobby traffic, and screen call button requests. Perform nightly curfew checks by knocking on unit doors, document resident whereabouts, and file detailed incident reports for emergencies or unusual facility events. Escort visitors, assist residents per ADA regulations, and notify supervisors regarding outside agency visits. Work flexible evenings and weekends across three DC sites, including salting and shoveling walkways during inclement weather.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Punctuality and reliability
  • Ability to utilize computer software such as Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Google Mail
  • Ability to act responsibly, professionally, and use good judgment under pressure
  • Ability to write shift and incident reports in detail
  • Ability to de-ice the front walkway by salting and shoveling the front area when inclement weather occurs
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule as designated by their supervisor, including evenings and weekends and at various Community of Sites

  • Experience working in a residential environment
