Job Summary
Review, verify, and dispense prescription medications while counseling patients and administering immunizations. Lead pharmacy operations in the absence of the Pharmacist in Charge and mentor pharmacy technicians to foster accountability. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations while prioritizing workflow safety and quality. Support community health initiatives and expand clinical services within a collaborative, patient-focused environment. Average script volume is 500 per day per store.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
- Current pharmacist license
- Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana)
- Working knowledge of pharmacy systems, policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal regulations
Desired Qualifications
- Retail or community pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and patient counseling skills
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities
- Passion for delivering exceptional patient care and developing others
